Our aim is to share the pleasure that this remarkably rich era of
design and craftsmanship has given us by offering as wide and
affordable a range of artefacts as possible. Newlyn copper,
Archibald Knox pewter and Moorcroft pottery are all here, as
indeed are the unsigned, unsung and often equally beautiful and
more affordable items.

Please do call prior to travelling from any distance to make an
appointment, as collections or workshop restorations sometimes
result in brief closures during the above hours.
All of our furniture is professionally and sympathetically
restored only as necessary. Typically, discoloured varnishes on
oak are removed to reveal the beauty of the grain, the wood is
then oiled and wax buffed to a soft lustre. Loose joints and
minor repairs etc. having been attended to and hinges and
handles polished or re coppered if required.
Chairs are fully reupholstered and work in progress can be
tailored to your own specifications. Good original patination on
any item is always respected and our policy with copper and
pewter ware is the same, repolishing only when the original
patination is poor or damaged.
